Bike re-vamp

I've recently been given an old bike (maybe from the forties) and me and dad have decided to re-vamp it! Here are a few images that are inspiring me.

I'm really liking the flower decorations and i need to purchase a basket for the front!

The war bride

I just watched the film war bride and it was amazing so i had to share! It's about a woman from London who falls in love with a Canadian soldier during WW2. They get married and she falls pregnant, he has to leave to go back to the war. A letter arrives and she moves to Canada with his mother and sister, by this time she's had the child. His mother and sister don't make her welcome and she finds it hard to fit in with the farming life. But soon they accept her and she spends time making clothes from an old sewing machine she found in the shed. After years of waiting her husband finally returns!
